How It Works

This user-friendly, all-in-one package puts the design process at your fingertips, from raw data input to the final interactive model. A standard usage scenario, divided into six simple key phases, lets you produce results with photo-realistic quality:

 - Importing and reducing 3D objects

You create your 3D scene using pre-existing 3D models (CAD, computer graphics or scanned models) imported via the  module. A quick and high-performance tool allows you to reduce the meshing of geometric shapes in order to obtain optimal results in spite of any limits that may be imposed on the project (capacity of computer, Web...)

 - Creating the environment

Starting with a panoramic image of an environment (supplied with ), your products are immediately immersed and lit, as they would be in reality. Naturally, you can change the environment at any time to see what your products look like under different ambient conditions (indoor lighting, natural lighting, urban environment, etc.)

 - Lighting and texturing your objects

You light your 3D scene using a whole range of light sources from spotlights showcasing a particular object to directional sources like the sun. You can instantly switch your lights on and off or change the brightness and color levels of your lights and shadows.

You apply texture to your 3D objects in their actual environments from a huge selection of materials (supplied with  or from your custom library. This lets you render all surface types: mat, brilliant, reflective, transparent, etc. Experiment by simply dragging and dropping any material into your object. With no computation time, results are immediate.

 - Animating

Thanks to simple, intuitive, key-based animation tools, you can define interactive scripts in your scenes. For instance, you can accurately reproduce the way a mechanical process operates (starting up a tool, an opening/closing system, etc.) or train a user through interactive tutorials. You can also get users to follow a precise navigation path to enhance presentations (sales demonstrations, sales support tools, etc.).

 - Exploring alternatives

You can easily test alternative versions of your scene for fast comparison: try out different surface textures from a wide choice of materials, experiment with atmospheres using different lighting schemes or analyze your scene from various viewpoints etc. By varying these settings, you can develop coherent design codes and/or color schemes for your products.

The 3D annotation feature lets you add wording to highlight the key points of your presets.

 - Deployment

Deploying your mock-ups allows you to widely share and distribute your work. To this end, several complementary tools are available:

                            • Outputting images (without any calculation time!) in various formats and sizes that can be printed as you wish
                            • Outputting videos, either free style or predefined by a scenario for presentation or web site
                            • Generating stand-alone executable applications that can be freely distributed and shared. Because they are easily interchanged, you can view the artwork without having to install any specific software.
                            • Deploying to  offers, among other things, the possibility to visualize the different versions of a product, to trigger a scenario, to enjoy interactivity or to save view points in order to reproduce and animate them. All of this can be done without any advanced technical skills
